Named after the 200 year anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet, Bicentennial Reserve is a popular local recreational resource. It’s home to a number of attractions including the playing fields of Bicentennial Reserve Oval, Willoughby Leisure Centre, the Northern Suburbs Netball Association and the Flat Rock Baseball Diamond.

A wide shared cycle/pedestrian pathway links through to Artarmon Reserve and Flat Rock Gully. Playground equipment, barbeques and picnic facilities make it a much-loved family destination, with people flocking to The Incinerator Café for its seasonal menu. A mural by contemporary Aboriginal artist Shane Haurama can be found in the reserve, depicting the indigenous people and landscape of the gully.
